SUMMARY After updating to the latest plasma package, night light seems to turn off whenever my laptop is plugged in. It can be restored by using "Suspend" under the "Brightness and Color" widget, but the problem returns once unplugged (or when power to the charger brick is turned off). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have Night Light turned on (I use "Always on Night Light") 2. Plug in laptop charger (or unplug if already charging during step 1) OBSERVED RESULT Night light is now deactivated despite set to be always on. EXPECTED RESULT Night light should remain active regardless of charging or otherwise. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.16.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 Kernel Version: 6.15.9-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 8 × AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 3700U w/ Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx Memory: 16 GiB of RAM (13.5 GiB usable) Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon Vega 10 Graphics ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Night light can be recovered by toggling the Suspend control under the "Brightness and Color" widget on the taskbar, but problem returns once laptop is unplugged (or plugged back in). Might be relevant, but Night Light cannot be recovered by changing "Always On Night Light" to "Always Off Night Light" in the "Night Light - System Settings" menu.
