STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Clean up the kmymoney configuration (rm ~/.config/kmymoney/ -rf). 2. Download the kmymoney snapshot from https://cdn.kde.org/ci-builds/office/kmymoney/master/windows/. 3. Unpack the archive and start kmymoney. 4. Open “https://invent.kde.org/office/kmymoney/-/raw/master/kmymoney/plugins/views/reports/core/tests/data/test-transactions.xml”. 5. Click on the menu item “Settings->Configure KMyMoney->Online Quotes”, install “Yahoo.com [Currency]” if it is not available, and close the settings dialog. 5. Add USD as a new currency in the menu item “Tools->Currencies”. 6. Select the menu item “Account->New Account”. 7. Select USD as the currency. 8. Click on the “Online Quote” button. OBSERVED RESULT A dialog box named “Update Stock and Currency Quotes” opens and the status window displays the following: Source “KMyMoney Currency” does not exist I can select a different source, but there is no button to actually retrieve a quote. I have to reopen the online quote settings dialog, create a reference for “Yahoo.com [currency]”, rename it to “KMyMoney currency”, and then reopen the “New Accounts Wizard” to create the new account with an associated online quote. EXPECTED RESULT The above-mentioned dialog box should display a dialog box with a button for retrieving an online quote, at least if the source has been changed. SOFTWARE/OPERATING SYSTEM VERSIONS Operating system: openSUSE Leap 15.6 KDE Plasma version: 5.27.11 KDE Frameworks version: 5.115.0 Qt version: 5.15.12 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION After the account has been opened with the corresponding conversion rate, the “Price Editor” displays ‘User’ as the source instead of “KMyMoney currency”, i.e. the assignment to the online source is lost.
