Description Alex6 2025-08-03 06:31:06 UTC
SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch korganizer
2. Choose a view (agenda) and a date
3. Close & reopen

OBSERVED RESULT
different settings (those in effect when the last KDE session was closed?)

EXPECTED RESULT
I dream of an option to launch korganizer with the same view, adapted to the current date, for example “agenda for today and tomorrow”.

Comment 4 Allen Winter 2025-08-03 12:31:32 UTC
In the upcoming 6.5.0 release KOrganizer will remember and restore the view.
I don't have a fix for remembering the current date yet.

also, there is no capability to configure the initial view and there is no semantics for "today" or "tomorrow" either.

Comment 6 Allen Winter 2025-08-03 15:31:07 UTC
what I mean is: you can't korganizer to start with "today" or "tomorrow" or any specific date

perhaps I misunderstood your wish.

I thought you meant that you want korganizer to start (using some configuration or command-line option) in some specified view and on some specified date(s) like "today" or "tomorrow" or "3 weeks from now", ...
