Description evea 2025-08-02 00:50:01 UTC
When I edit a file in gwenview and save it, it looks washed out.

The original file has the following color management data:

exiftool -a -S -G0 \
  -ColorSpace \
  -InteropIndex \
  -WhitePoint \
  -PrimaryChromaticities \
  -Gamma \
  -ICC_Profile:all \

The gwenview exported jpeg is missing all that data. Unless the image gets converted to i.e. sRGB (which I think most apps default to?), it should parse the data.

Can you provide the file? That would be helpful.

Here is a sample file. In Glenview save it as JPG, you will see it getting washed out.

I noticed that the:
"colour_primaries_ICC_Description : Adobe RGB (1998)"
is written to Image #2, which is the thumbnail, but not the actual image.
