I'm a user of the XFCE desktop environment, currently running Linux Mint 21.3 XFCE (64-bit) with Flatpak version 1.12.7. I’m using the Flatpak version of Dolphin (24.12.3) from Flathub. While Dolphin works great in terms of features and functionality, I’ve had a persistent issue: it doesn’t display properly in a dark theme when used on XFCE. There doesn’t seem to be any good built-in dark theme option that integrates well with GTK-based desktop environments like XFCE when using the Flatpak version. I’ve tried several workarounds-changing GTK/Qt styles, using Kvantum themes, and similar tweaks-but the results are often messy. Some parts of the UI remain bright, and certain text or icons become unreadable. I’d like to request the addition of a more consistent and accessible dark theme option (or improved dark theme support) for the Flatpak version of Dolphin, especially for users outside the KDE Plasma desktop environment-XFCE in particular. Thank you for your time and for maintaining such excellent software!
Please update Dolphin to 25.04.3 and see if this is still an issue. If it is, please set this back to REPORTED. Thanks.
