Description kde 2025-07-28 18:49:58 UTC
SUMMARY
I open split view and multiple tabs - properly unrelated) and terminal the cursor will act on active terminal location that updates to wrong side. e.g. I click on right side and terminal goes to left side location and if I focus an item with mouse and press `del` it will delete item on left side that half was off focus. Context menu (right click) will not work at all in the file section.
Happens often, but not all the time.
Workaround: if you notice a wrong location focus the terminal in-between, and it will correct itself. Clicking other side does nothing, only terminal resets it. Started with .80.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. use split view & open the terminal as well (default for some)
2. Click around or off focus the window until the path in terminal is on inactive side
3. Click something and deleted or try to open the context menu

OBSERVED RESULT
Deleting wrong file, selecting or coping from/to wrong location or unable to use context menu

EXPECTED RESULT
Work as before
