SUMMARY Standard Application launcher does not work as designed STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Click Launcher 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT nothing happens EXPECTED RESULT 1. show up applications 2. being able to start applications SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - Not only the launcher does not work but as well the control panel does not react as it should. Sometimes options appear, sometimes nothing happens. Sometimes options simply persist while clicking other entries. The whole panel seems to be in a way freezed or dead or whatever - When adding a different launcher (e.g. full screen...) at least launching apps works - When moving the application launcher to the desktop of screen 1 I cannot move it back again - It looks as if, when the launcher works I need three clicks to deactivate the menu, very stange! Possible solution might be to reset the panel including the launcher completely but I do not see an option for this.
Based on your description, it sounds like there's not just one bug, but rather a whole constellation of issues with Plasma and your panel. Unfortunately, without more detail, we'll be unable to debug this. It also doesn't help that you're using Plasma 6.3, which is out of support at this point in time. Can you reproduce the issue in Plasma 6.4 at all? If so, we can proceed with debugging it.
Hi Nate, thanks for you answer! :-) I currently do not see an option to update to Plasma 6.4. Can you support me? What shall I do? I use KDE in two Notebooks. On the more modern oneI do have these problems. That's up to Manjaro. I'm surprised they haven't shipped it yet.

No update on the case up to now because there was no upgrade of KDE/Plasma on Manjaro Linux until today.
