SUMMARY The KCM has the option "Default User: Last Logged-in user" set by default. This doesn't appear to work, if you log in and then log out you are presented with having to enter the username and password. The equivalent setting for SDDM (which is the default on most distros) is to show the user who last logged in and only require the password for that user to log in. It appears that the state file at `/var/lib/plasmalogin/state.conf` is indeed being written to and has the correct username but that this might not being read/used on startup. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install plasma-login-manager 2. Make no configuration changes since this setting is the default 3. Log in via plasma-login-manager. 4. By any means (log out, restart, shut off and then turn back on) return to the login manager OBSERVED RESULT Fields to enter in the username and password, no identifying user information EXPECTED RESULT The username already filled in as well as the display name for the user (I assume this is what we want by default since it's the default with sddm) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window) Linux/KDE Plasma: AerynOS KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.16.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION PAM configurations are identical to the SDDM ones
