Description Antti Savolainen 2025-07-23 16:49:58 UTC
SUMMARY
vim and neovim have a problem that they integrate very poorly with system clipboard. They require several keypresses to copy and when in a remote session it gets even trickier. To fix this I propose that konsole implements a setting to always copy highlighted text to PRIMARY clipboard, no matter if the terminal session is local or ssh'd to remote. This way I can highlight text with my mouse and not worry whether or not it ends in my clipboard.
