Created attachment 183445 [details] round lines SUMMARY Subtle circular lines appear around application windows on Wayland STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open various applications (e.g., Discover, file manager, file dialogs) 2. Observe the application windows that appear 3. Look for faint circular/round lines around the window edges OBSERVED RESULT Subtle/faint circular lines appear around some application windows. The lines are barely visible but can be seen around the edges of windows. This happens with apps like Discover, file manager, and file dialogs. EXPECTED RESULT Application windows should appear without any additional visual artifacts or lines around them. All windows should have clean edges with no unexpected visual effects or outlines. Those round lines are the window shadow. They're being displayed in a fairly blocky way, which could be evidence of an issue with the color depth of the screen or the graphics card driving it. What GPU are you using?
Nvidia RTX 3060 laptop
Can you see such issues in other gradients? Also, please attach the output of kscreen-doctor -o

Does it only happen on one screen, or on both? Also, > Can you see such issues in other gradients?
On both monitors, I notice subtle shadows on some windows, most visible against a dark grey background, though they are less noticeable in Brave and Chrome.

What are your decoration settings? Specifically the settings under window decorations > edit button on Breeze > Shadows and Outline
It was set to default. But after setting shadow size to none fixed the issue. I wish that I knew that earlier :) Thank you, for you patience and support :)
Hmm, I'm not sure what's going on then. If you would like to investigate this further, we could keep this open and see if anyone else has an idea. If not and you're happy with the workaround, feel free to close it as resolved worksforme.
