SUMMARY Can reproduce on both Arch Linux and neon unstable. STEPS TO REPRODUCE (if the partitions of your internal devices are already present in the KCM, you can test with a new user account) 1. have at least an internal ssd/hd with two or more partitions 2. open Auto-mount KCM OBSERVED RESULT there is no partition of the internal ssd(s)/hd(s) in the KCM. Fix: check "On login", apply the change, reboot, log in, and open the KCM again. Now all partitions of the internal device(s) are present. EXPECTED RESULT all partitions of internal devices are always present in the KCM SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.16.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 Graphics Platform: Wayland
Tested again on Plasma 6.5 with the following steps: 1. have at least 1 external device connected 2. create a new user account 3. log out 4. log in with the new user account 5. open Auto-mount KCM: internal and external devices are missing from the KCM (this is the bug) 6. check "On Login" and apply the change 7. reboot 8. log in with the new user account 9. open Auto-mount KCM: now the external and internal (only the ones not mounted on boot via fstab) devices are present in the KCM, as expected Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.19.0 Qt Version: 6.10.0 Graphics Platform: Wayland
