Created attachment 183340 [details] Example picture of the error in question, with two devices being discovered in the meantime SUMMARY When using a device with multiple bluetooth adapters the System Settings get confused once you disable one or more, reporting Bluetooth not to work in the "Add Device" window. Users can happily ignore that warning message since it will indeed discover devices using another adapter. However it causes great confusion, especially if you want to use a specific adapter (there's no way to select one, you have to disable all the others to force it using the active one). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add 2 or more Bluetooth adapters to your system 2. Deactivate at least one of them, but leave at least one active for usage 3. Open the "Add Device" page OBSERVED RESULT Spawns false error message about Bluetooth being unusable. EXPECTED RESULT Should only warn you if every single adapter is offline. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: OpenSuse Tumbleweed (20250714) KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.16.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This issue correlates with a UI/UX problem, as it's not possible to select the used adapter outside of disabling every single other adapter to force usage of a specific one. Meanwhile the Bluetooth tray icon will show the used adapter for each connected device, implying there should be a way to control it.
