SUMMARY
When using Intel Arc B580, system monitor cannot get the right data from the GPU sensors.
GPU usage, temperature and other specs are always 0.
The right data can be found in sysfs:
/sys/class/drm/card0/device/hwmon/hwmon*

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Run system monitor.
2. Check GPU usage on default page.
3. Add GPU temperature to the page and check.

OBSERVED RESULT
Both usage and temperature are 0.

EXPECTED RESULT
Some value larger than 0.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma:

What is the output of

/usr/lib/ksystemstats_intel_helper
?

For temperature I guess those are the properties:
https://docs.kernel.org/admin-guide/abi-testing-files.html#abi-file-testing-sysfs-driver-intel-i915-hwmon

We can add that for sure, sorry I was not aware of those so far.
Comment 2 David Redondo 2025-07-22 12:21:49 UTC
Sorry that will try to get the data from the integrated gpu.

/usr/lib/ksystemstats_intel_helper "pci address of your card"

This is the name of device link in the path that you pasted, like 0000:00:01.0

When plasma-systemmonitor is open, a process with this binary such an argument should also be running.
