Created attachment 183238 [details] Crash log from kritacrash.log SUMMARY Krita will randomly completely crash with no warning and close the program when trying to save. It is unclear what triggers this. It has happened to a few different projects. This also happens when it's on the autosave feature and will unceremoniously crash. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Draw something using any tools from paint brush, paint fill or pasting in layers. 2. Save project OBSERVED RESULT It crashes. Not every time, but randomly. EXPECTED RESULT It to save the work and not crash SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: I apologize that I don't have anything more concrete on steps to reproduce. I really don't understand what is wrong or why it crashes. This issue has also persisted for me in different versions of Krita so updating the software has not fixed the issue.
Do you have any 3rd party python plugins installed? The crash happens inside the python interterpreter.

๐๐งน Thanks for your comment! Automatically switching the status to REPORTED so the team can perform further triage. In the future you may also do this yourself when providing needed information.
I wasn't sure where to put this, but I just discovered a few minutes ago that I can do "Save As" to save whatever project as the same name and it bypasses the issue as far as I can tell right now when it crashes due to saving. So it seems quick save is part of the issue. I will update if it at all helps in case this work around has issues or isn't fool proof.

Update: It often works, but I did have a crash with this method too.
Sorry for the late reply. I was on vacation. If the plugin you mention is https://download.kde.org/stable/krita/FastSketchPlugin-1.1.0/ then it's something we can look into it, if not, it's not our bug.

I don't have that plugin. What I realized that has helped, but I don't know for sure if it's going to stay that way was updating my graphics card drivers. I don't know if Krita is dependent on drivers being up to date or not. But it seemed to help last time I had them updated.
