Created attachment 183046 [details] Screen recording of the bug SUMMARY When I want to extract an archive, the file picker has the Extract button grayed out until I put in a name. In the past it didn't do that, so it would just extract with the name of the only folder or in the automatic subfolder. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open an archive 2. Click Extract (more precisely Extract to...) 3. Don't put in a name in the file picker OBSERVED RESULT The Extract button is grayed out until a name is typed in. EXPECTED RESULT The Extract button should always be enabled. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: Fedora KDE 42 KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.15.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I can still extract with no name specified when I press enter on the name field.
Same problem on latest ArchLinux (KDE 6.4.3, Ark 25.04.3). It's been like this for a month or two.
Can confirm this is an issue on Bazzite KDE. Confirmed, on Kubuntu 25.10 x86_64, on two separate machines, following the update to 25.10. Prior to this, Ark was working fine. Additional info: KDE Plasma 6.4.5 Qt 6.9.2
I don't have this issue anymore on the latest version of Ark (25.08.3).
