Concept Art of the volume icon somewhere around 75% volume.

The volume icon could be more precise if the audio waves started from the middle and then expanded into the sides.

We discussed changes like these before in our channel and we determined that it was better to have more visibility in the icon than accuracy. The reason being that it would lead to us making a ton more icons to showcase lines that are less visible to users. This is why we abandoned the idea.
