SUMMARY

First of all, I don't know if this matters, but I'm (currently) using XFCE, and don't even have the KDE/Plasma DE installed.

Anyway, I had no problems for the longest time, because at some point I had quit using multiple workspaces (or virtual desktops). But soon after coming to my senses, and having, for example, my browser running in different workspace than my emacs session, I started to have issues. Sometimes when I opened Yakuake, it switched to a different desktop. I figured that it was always a specific one, and it seems it was the one from where Yakuake was originally started from.
What's weird is that sometimes it doesn't do this. And when it does, usually doing this will help:
* retract Yakuake.
* switch back to where you were.
* Try opening it again.
...which is weird.

However this made Yakuake too annoying to use for the time, and had me temporarily switch to Guake Terminal (which I don't like, because it lacks support for sixel graphics), until hopefully better Yakuafuture :)
