SUMMARY

I had originally configured Yakuake to open/retract with Super+§ (On Finnish QWERTY, as well as Swedish Dvorak, § is located where US keyboards have ~). Because of another bug, I was forced to switch temporarily to Guake Terminal, and decided I would still keep Yakuake, but change the keybindings, so I can use Guake with Super+§.

That caused an issue that has made Yakuake basically useless in my case - I specifically want it to open/retract from keyboard binding only. I did manage to clear the old binding, but I wasn't able to assign a new one. When trying to set it, you see the modifier keys your pressing (like Ctrl+Super, etc.), but when you finally enter the key, most of the time you'll get no change at all. Trying to select the default (F12) for Global keybinding also doesn't do anything. Sometimes on some other binding, or different type (e.g. Global Alternate) it looks like it assigned the binding - but only on the binding editor - the new binding still wont show in the bindings list row.

I guess I could restore my old bindings by copying the configuration file from one of my backup snapshots on an external drive. But I don't know where the configuration files are located. That is, Yakuake main configurations, keyboard configurations, profiles, and whatever there are. The configurations actually seemed to come from Konsole, as I had created them on it, and they simply were there when I first started Yakuake, but I don't know their location either. It would also enable me to edit the configuration files by hand, if I knew where they are.
Even so, this is a bad issue. I don't know if it happened after some of many updates I've done, or if something has caused Yakuake to bug out and cause the keyboard configuration window to not function correctly, but this is something that should be fixed ASAP, if it can be identified by others.

I don't know the steps to reproduce this. It used to work, but there was a long time and several updates between the last time I had modified the keyboard bindings and when I recently tried to change the binding, but only ended up removing it.
