Description sven.cnrd 2025-07-04 15:31:01 UTC
I'm getting weird mouse jumps in KDE connect.

Steps to reproduce:
- Use the Android app for KDE connect
- Use the "Remote input" function to control a KDE System that has "Global scale" >100 in the Display Configuration (to enlarge the UI on the KDE system)
- move the mouse to the screen border.

Once the mouse reaches the screen border (no matter which side), it weirdly jumps back a bit. The higher the Global scale, the bigger the jump. Very annoying.

I'm on a current openSuse Tumbleweed 20250702. The "KDE Connect" version installed is 25.4.2-1.1. The version of the Android app is 1.33.4, is is installed from the Play store and has no updates pending.
I have the same problem on three different PCs that should are all more or less identically configured, but very different hardware-wise.

Oh, I almost forgot: Only happening on a X11 Plasma Session. If using Wayland, even with Global Scaling, the mouse just stops at the screen borders as it should.

I'm also seeing this same behavior on nixos on x11 as well.
