Open "Configure Kate" from menu, then enable "Open each document in its own window" in behaviour section. 2. Now, open another file via dolphin. (also try on doing on a separate workspace) OBSERVED RESULT In the icons panel, kate window button turns orange. (window demands attention) The inactive kate window demands attention on opening a new file in separate window. EXPECTED RESULT The inactive window should not be affected. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window) Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hmm, we activate the current active main window, not sure why that is still the old one if we just opened a new one.
