Created attachment 182812 [details] 3 screens showing the problem SUMMARY "Tags" are now case sensitive, if I type "school" and there is a "School" Tag it will be shown, but when it loses focus the application asks if I want to include this tag STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. New transaction 2. Choose a Category 3. Type the first letter (lower case) for the Tag, if there is a tag with this first letter even Uppper case, it will show but the kmymoney will ask if you want to include this tag OBSERVED RESULT EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 11 24H2 macOS: (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window) Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I don't think anything has changed here. Tag search (as with all the other drop-down searches as you type a Payee/Account/.... search case insensitive, but the actual values are case sensitive. Are you saying the behavior has changed?

The tags selection process has been adjusted to the ones for payees and categories/accounts. If you press e.g. the down-arrow key before changing focus the question is not shown. I don't see this as a bug but a change in behavior.
