Description Pierre JUHEN 2025-06-29 13:36:37 UTC
I updated my system (Fedora 42) 2 days ago.

Since then, I have two symptoms of a bug in kscreenlocker

1/messages in the journal
kscreenlocker_g[155793]: segfault at 1a05 ip 00007f4f5358e19d sp 00007ffc9640ad80 error 4 in libLayerShellQtInterface.so.6.4.1[319d,7f4f5358b000+7000] likely on CPU 2 (core 2, socket 0)

(each time I want to unlock)

2/ the photo on the screen is not round anymore, but rectangular

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Lock screen

OBSERVED RESULT

Rectangular photo + message in the journal

EXPECTED RESULT
Round photo / no message

This bug is not the same as bug 506316.

The screen is unlocked.

Except of the rectangulard picture and th message, the behavior is correct.
