Neither the system monitor nor the network connections show the download and upload speeds. Now I was uploading a file over 50 GB in size to the cloud via Firefox and the speed was not displayed at all. The same problem exists in wine applications and many others.
Thanks for filing this bug report. Unfortunately there isn't enough information for us to try to figure out what's happening. Please add information about your system as requested in the bug report template. Copy and paste this with the information into a new comment. The problem is that the current network load is not displayed. Here are the specifications of my PC. But this happens on all my devices. Open Firefox and try to download a large file and you will see that KDE Plasma does not display correctly anywhere how much the network is loaded. Information is shown from some programs, but most often the channel is fully used, and the system says that the channel is occupied quite a bit. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.15.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 Kernel Version: 6.15.4-arch2-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 32 × Intel® Core™ i9-14900KF Memory: 62.6 ГиБ of RAM Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Manufacturer: ASUS
Thanks for the additional information. That helps us to narrow down the problem and in what version of the software it started happening. I'm not able to reproduce this on git-master In System Monitor, I was looking at Network History I uploaded and downloaded large files to a Nextcloud instance using Firefox. In all cases I saw the graph and text values change to reflect the network activity. Can I ask you to attach a screenshot of the network activity shown by System Monitor when the bug is happening? > Information is shown from some programs, but most often the channel is fully used, and the system says that the channel is occupied quite a bit. Can you explain in more detail where you're seeing the system saying the channel is occupied? Thanks

I mean, the speed is displayed in the control panel of the router, but for some reason it is not taken into account from some applications. This problem occurs on 2 computers and a laptop. I'm uploading the file to mail.ru The cloud and speed are not displayed in the KDE system monitor. It says that the network is almost not loaded, although the entire 1Gbit channel is busy.

Can I ask you to attach a screenshot of the network activity shown by System Monitor when the bug is happening? Also, can you send a screenshot of the control panel of the router? This will help us understand what data the System Monitor should be showing. Thanks.
Created attachment 182857 [details] Scr For example. I'm streaming in OBS. The traffic is leaving and this is visible in the control panel of the router and is also visible in the OBS itself. But this is not taken into account in the system monitor.
Thank you for the screenshot. That was very helpful. I see what you're describing, and I also see that on my git-master system On the Overview tab, under Application, nothing is shown under the Download and Upload columns

The old overview page cannot be deleted. After the update, it was automatically copied down and cannot be deleted.

Please open a new report with "wishlist" since this would be a feature request. Thanks!
