When you move mouse fast enough (doesn't even need to be super fast) it fails to highlight countries/zones

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the time zone page
2. Move mouse fast over the the map


OBSERVED RESULT
Zone highlightning is lagging behind mouse

EXPECTED RESULT
Zones get highlighted as user moves mouse

I do see the lag you're describing on Fedora 42.
The good news is that I'm not able to reproduce this in Plasma built from git-master, the highlight follows the mouse near instantaneously on my system.

This fix will be shipped with 6.5.0. If it gets backported, it may show up in 6.4.2 but there are no guarantees. If you still see this bug with Plasma 6.5.0, feel free to reopen this report.
