SUMMARY The KDE session seems to suddenly crash (and indeed, that's what I *thought* was happening, see #505938) and return me to the SDDM display manager screen. However, if I switch virtual terminals via the usual Ctrl+Alt+F[1-9] keybindings, I can find the session again. STEPS TO REPRODUCE Unfortunately, I don't know what causes the switch in virtual terminals. It seems to just happen spontaneously.
