Created attachment 182631 [details] dragging screenshot from pop up to desktop doesn't work SUMMARY When taking a screenshot with spectacle, a pop up notification displays the screenshot. Previously I was able to click and drag the screenshot to the desktop and either move or copy it there. Now this only works through dolphin and not directly to the desktop anymore (please see the attached video for clarity) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Take a screenshot with Spectacle 2. Try and drag the screenshot from the pop up notification window directly to the desktop OBSERVED RESULT Nothing happens EXPECTED RESULT The screenshot should either be moved or copied to the desktop (a move/copy menu used to pop up before) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.15.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 Kernel Version: 6.12.28-1-MANJARO (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -This used to work fine previously in Frameworks version 6.14.0 and Qt Version 6.9.0 this bug happened after updating to 6.15.0 and 6.9.1 respectively - Please see the attached video
Hmm, this is working for me in Plasma 6.4. Can you upgrade and try again?

I've noticed that Manjaro tends to wait for one or two point releases after a major plasma update before making it available on stable. I'll try again and revert back here again once it becomes available for us. (It may take a few weeks though)

Just updated to KDE plasma 6.3.6 and the same problem is still there. (we still don't have 6.4 in our stable repos) I don't know if the issue i'm facing is related to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=506188
It's probably fixed by that, yeah.
Still waiting for the relevant software updates to be available in our stable repos to do the testing again. I haven't forgotten about this.
Ok so we just had an update in our repos to the following: KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.6 (this is the still the same) KDE Frameworks Version: 6.17.0 (this got updated) Qt Version: 6.9.1 (I think this is also the same) Can confirm that the bug is resolved with KDE Frameworks Version: 6.17.0 I can now successfully take a screenshot with spectacle and drag it from the notification window to the desktop. 👍🏻
Excellent! That makes sense as Frameworks 6.17 included a major drag-and-drop fix.
Hi again! Sorry for posting here again but I just noticed that the context menu for dragging a screenshot taken from the spectacle notification window to the desktop no longer has the move command available, you can only copy or link the image now whereas before you could also choose to move it. Please see the attached screenshot.
