SUMMARY Of the six items on this screen: - Overview, KRunner, Activities, Vault have explanatory screenshots - System Settings has a blown-up icon showing where to click - KDE Connect has nothing but text I was just testing the latest Fedora KDE release, and noting the Welcome Center changes. The asymmetry here stood out to me. I tested it with `kde-builder`, building off commit `1648c6574b5eb7c0904d9a1207453862005f42bd`, and the issue is still present. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Run `plasma-welcome` 2. Click Next until the "Powerful When Needed" screen is reached 3. Click on each of the cards listed and compare how they look OBSERVED RESULT KDE Connect stands out as being text-only. EXPECTED RESULT One or more screenshots or graphical aids should enrich the description of KDE Connect for new users. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Welcome Center: 6.4.80 Debian GNU/Linux trixie/sid (Wayland) KDE Frameworks: 6.16.0 Qt: Using 6.8.2 and built against 6.8.2 Build ABI: x86_64-little_endian-lp64 Kernel: linux 6.12.32-amd64
I'm going to close this, as this isn't really a bug per se. It's something I intend to do at some point, and tracked in https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-welcome/-/issues/31.
