Icon staying to same "default" file manager, from icon theme.

This only happens in Dolphin, using the papirus icon theme, for example, changing to "dino" in Applications category works for discord but not Dolphin(included screenshot).

I guess it's due to https://invent.kde.org/system/dolphin/-/merge_requests/945, but limiting the icon to not be able to be changed either whatsoever is a bug or intended design?
