SUMMARY On Win11 (23H2, build 22631.5472), attempting to receive a file from my phone (Galaxy S24+) or tablet (Galaxy Tab S8+) fails unless the entire parent directory structure already exists. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Configure the "Share and receive" plugin on a Windows PC to "Save files in:" a folder that doesn't already exist. 2. Try to send a file to this Windows PC. OBSERVED RESULT The file transfer is reported as a failure on the sending end and no file is transferred. EXPECTED RESULT The Windows PC should attempt to make the missing folder(s) before trying to copy the file. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS KDE Connect: 25.04.2 Windows 11 Version 23H2 KDE Frameworks: 6.15.0 Qt: Using 6.8.3 and built against 6.8.3 Build ABI: x86_64-little_endian-llp64 Kernel: winnt 10.0.22631 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The "%1 in the path will be replaced with the specific device name" feature would be useful to me but that requires me to pre-make folders for every device and to update them if the device name ever changes.
