SUMMARY Unable to paste a screenshot into applications launched after the screenshot STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Copy & paste any text, close/tray the target application 2. Create a screenshot with Spectacle using PrtSc Ctrl+C (or PrtSc, "Copy" button in GUI) 3. Open the target application and try pasting the screenshot OBSERVED RESULT Screenshot is not pasted into the application, but saved into the Klipper. EXPECTED RESULT Screenshot should be pasted into the application. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.15.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 Kernel Version: 6.15.3-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-13500H Memory: 16 GiB of RAM (15.2 GiB usable) Graphics Processor: Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 1. After the target app has launched, pressing the "Copy" button again solves the issue. 2. If an application was running before the screenshot, Clipboard Manager works. 3. May sound a bit off, but I was able to reproduce this issue more consistently by switching to a workspace different from where screenshot was taken.
Do you have your clipboard history set to 0 or 1 items, or have you disabled the clipboard widget?

Thanks. And how have the target apps been packaged? Are they native distro packacing, Flatpak/Snap, or something else? And does the issue happen with every single target app you try, or only some? What are the target apps that you've tried where it happens?

I've tried it in "telegram-desktop", "64gram-desktop", "ayugram", "gimp" and konsole application by running "wl-paste --list-types" command. For GUI applications, nothing is pasted, and konsole prints out "Nothing is copied".
How odd. Can you reproduce this issue at all in a new clean user account on the same computer?

If you want, I will try to reproduce it in the QEMU ArchLinux machine? But it will surely take much more effort and time, because I'll need to set it up first.
