SUMMARY
I was transferring a file from my windows drive to my linux drive while on linux and then clicked on the "minimize" arrow for that transfer's notification so it is out of my way like I normally do. It was gone into the panel. I wanted to check on it by clicking on the little circle in the panel. First click brings an empty menu, system freezes for a little bit then the transfer window re-appears as if I have restored it (I didn't), from this point on, clicking on the circle kills the whole shell. See attachments. Circled the icon with red in case I didn't make sense. The other screenshot shows the "empty menu" I mentioned, and yes, that is what happens to the wallpaper behind it, it goes away and becomes this light color in the screenshot

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Transer a file
2. Minimize it
3. Check on it by clicking the transfer circle in the panel

OBSERVED RESULT
Plasma shell crashes when the transfer circle is clicked

EXPECTED RESULT
No crash

If something crashed, we need a backtrace of it so we can figure out what's going on. Can you please attach a backtrace of the crash using the `coredumpctl` command-line program, as detailed in https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports#Retrieving_a_backtrace_using_coredumpctl?

Thanks!

Actually the Sentry report is enough to confirm this as a duplicate of Bug 503099.

So, do you still need that backtrace, or do you think what you have already is good? I'd be glad to help :)

All good, no need for any more information from you!
