SUMMARY Copying text from KWallet appears to 'highjack' the paste buffer STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a stored password in KWallet, highlight a string and copy it using Ctrl-C or right-click copy. 2. Attempt to paste the copied string into another program, (eg a browser). OBSERVED RESULT 1. This may work, but when it doesn't, either nothing or an earlier copied object is pasted. 2. Examine the list of copied objects in KWallet and note that the copied tesxt is not present EXPECTED RESULT The copied text is reliably pasted. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 25.04 KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.12.0 Qt Version: 6.8.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This bug was originally posted at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=505596, but no conclusions were reached other than the problem only seems to occur when copying from KWallet.
