Created attachment 182461 [details] sudo iotop -p <KTorrent PID> SUMMARY I have a problem with KTorrent constantly writing to disk when torrents are seeded in idle. If i Pause All torrents, the writing to disk stopped. When i start all or even a single one immediately start writing to disk. This has happened to me before, i had to purge KTorrent + all settings and starting from scratch by checking everything that's how i fixed it early. I've been okay for months until i did update 6.4.0 recently, I see this matter has come back to me, i really don't want to start again from scratch rechecking all the torrents. I found this thread that has identical symptoms to me. https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php%3Ff=235&t=168200.html I don't have anything suspicious in the settings either. Please do a check if it's just me like this? This is possibly the same bug as https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=490894. Please let me know if the issue still persists in version 25.08.1 (should be released on 11th September).
Just saw this too late sorry, I'll test it and confirm as soon as it arrives at Tumbleweed, Thank you for writing.
Hello, I confirm that it is already fixed now with version 25.08.1. There is no more written on disk. Thank you for resolving it.
