SUMMARY Windows now remember their status on different virtual desktop and as such, when moved from one virtual desktop to another they can change size, position and whether or not are tiled. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a window 2. Move to another virtual desktop 3. Change position/size 4. move window back OBSERVED RESULT The window moved back use the old position/size. EXPECTED RESULT The window should now use the new position and size and not unexpectedly change size/position/tiling. Created attachment 182327 [details] Konsole moved over virtual desktop change tiling status Sure thing. Also I would like to do a small correction. It seem to be only tiling status (all virtual desktop with where the window is untiled have same size and position, but is possible to have different tile and have tile window in some place and untiled in other).
This is per virtual desktop tiling.
Mmm, i had understood that feature, to be something different. For me this behavior of changing tiling stats when moving is annoying, i personally would disable it if possible. But maybe it is just me. I would still leave the bug open if more people find this problematic (if that is not a problem). Could you have a look also at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=505684, which is similar but more properly (i think) is a bug.
Considering the above comments, closings this as intentional.
