Cutting the clip duplicates audio 2, but cutting again restores audio 1

I had a project and opened it and it started happening.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. I have no idea

Duplicates audio but then unduplicates after clicking again.

Are you using clips with multiple audio streams ? At some point there was an issue with audio clips showing the thumbnails for the wrong stream. could you check with the 25.08 beta AppImage to see if the issue is solved ?
