This isn't a bug. You can expand and collapse the configuration, which is why the same text is used to start face detection. This isn't a translation error; it's the same in the English original. Incidentally, this also applies to the quality search and auto-tags configuration in the other left-hand sidebars. Maik
Created attachment 182252 [details] sample image in english Hello Maik, Sorry to insist, but it is a bug. See the same image in english, the two text are not the same, becauses these are not the same settings. The first one is for face detection, this second one is for face recognition
Okay, now I see the error between face detection and face recognition. I don't speak French. We're not the translators. I'll forward this bug to the French translation team. Maik
SVN commit 1711124 by jjazeix: fix French translation of detection in digikam M +21 -21 digikam.po WebSVN link: http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&revision=1711124
Hi, thank you for the report, I've just applied a fix, feel free to check. We are looking for people interested to review the different files for digikam to improve the translation, would you be interested? We can help you set up the tool needed to review more easily the strings and propose better translations
Why not, if I can help
Thanks! You can download the multiple files for digiKam to translate in https://fr.l10n.kde.org/apps/pofiles.php#digikam (don't bother with digikam-doc, except if you want to translate all the documentation, but it would be from scratch). They are text files, but there are several editors that ease the translation. In KDE, we recommand Lokalize (https://apps.kde.org/fr/lokalize/) or PoEdit (https://poedit.net/). You can see screenshots on both websites that can help you decide which one is the most friendly for you to use. Once you have updated the texts you feel need improvements, you can send the files to kde-francophone@kde.org, and we will upload them to the repository. If you have any question, feel free to ask in kde-francophone@kde.org.
