SUMMARY
When installing a new application, the launcher highlights it with a little badge. I thought I would be able to dismiss this notification by clicking on it, but clicking does nothing, not even launching the application

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install a new application or remove and reinstall
2. Open the application launcher and navigate to the relevant section
3. Click the little "New!" badge next to the application

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens

EXPECTED RESULT
"New!" badge disappears without launching the app

This isn't a bug; it's not designed to do that. It could be, of course. Changing to wishlist.
