SUMMARY If you mount an NFS share, then turn off the server of that share without unmounting it, dolphin will become unresponsive, crash and then refuse to open again until you reboot the system. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Mount NFS share (via the terminal or otherwise) 2. Turn off NFS server without unmounting the share 3. Dolphin will become unresponsive, crash and be unusable until you reboot OBSERVED RESULT Dolphin will crash and be impossible to re-open until you reboot SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Linux 6.14.9-zen/Gentoo Linux 2.17, KDE Plasma Version 6.3.5 (Wayland) KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.13.0 Qt Version: 6.8.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This behavior is not new and has been consistently happening since the plasma 5.X days and persists, regardless of distro, hardware or any other factor.
