It would be really cool to have .gif files animate when the mouse cursor is held over them, similar to how movie files are previewed when the cursor is held above them in Dolphin.

Would recommend for the animated playback to be smooth (and looped) and not just a preview like in the case of video files (since gifs are much smaller in size)

Since we can do this for videos, it makes sense for animated gifs as well so long as the back end can do this
