SUMMARY

In Kontact, the label management is broken.
First, when you delete a label, it reappears. You have to try several times (several days) before the labels are actually deleted. Then, accented characters don't display correctly (see attachment), probably due to a charset issue. Finally, label synchronization is very random across multiple machines using the same email account: some labels sync perfectly, others don't, or sometimes not at all.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. set tags 
2. delete
3. synchronize with several accounts and kde distributions (Leap 15.6 and Fedora 41/42)
