This concern was posted at https://discuss.kde.org/t/xmpp-as-a-platform-to-synchronize-data/26688 and it is related to Bug #393618 A similar idea was implemented over a couple of decades ago, and it was called XULmark. I have implemented that idea with the Blasta system, which utilizes the XMPP standard Atom Over XMPP (XEP-0277 and XEP-0472). I am also working on a buku extension for Falkon which can be used as a base for the proposed feature of this ticket.
