SUMMARY I just recently discovered that kcommandbar exists, and that's mostly because it doesn't use the same shortcuts that other "popular" applications for their equivalent (the command palette). Warp Terminal, VScode, and Windows terminal all use "ctrl-shift-p". kcommandbar uses "ctrl-alt-i". I looked around Konsole shorcuts settings but I didn't find anything for kcommandbar. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Konsole 2. Settings->Configure Keyboard shortcuts 3. Look for command bar OBSERVED RESULT No setting found EXPECTED RESULT Setting found SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: CachyOS Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.14.0 Qt Version: 6.9.0 Kernel Version: 6.15.0-00098-ged0560077ce5 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 24 × AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 w/ Radeon 890M Memory: 30.6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon Graphics Manufacturer: Framework Product Name: Laptop 13 (AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series) System Version: 79 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION As other popular software uses ctrl-shift-p, if it's not possible to populate a configuration option could you bind it to both the old keystroke used today (alt-ctrl-i) and the other one used by other software?
Hi - in the Configure Keyboard Shortcuts dialog, you can actually search for the combination of an existing shortcut to find what that item is called. Typing "Ctrl+Alt+I" into the search box at the top will show that what you're referring to is labeled there as "Find Action...", and it can be customized within.
