Created attachment 181989 [details] Apt ouput. SUMMARY Attempting to install the package kdepiom fails as it depends on Plasma 5 packages as well as knotes, which is no longer available. STEPS TO REPRODUCE Attempt to install the psackage sudo apt install kdepim OBSERVED RESULT Depenency errors mentioning libk5pim items as well as knotes. EXPECTED RESULT The current kdepim stack should install without errors SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: KDE neon 6.3 KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.14.0 Qt Version: 6.9.0 Kernel Version: 6.11.0-26-generic (64-bit) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This also breaks the meta-package kde-standard >$ apt policy kdepim >kdepim: > Installed: (none) > Candidate: 4:23.08.5+5.146ubuntu3 > Version table: > 4:23.08.5+5.146ubuntu3 500 > 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu noble/universe amd64 Packages I guess we need to have our own package for this, perhaps?
indeed. it seems to come from the meta-kde package - https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/meta-kde there's a whole bunch of meta packages from that meta package
