SUMMARY
After setting charge limit in kubuntu 25.04 ,typing the sudo password thats needed and press apply it resets after changing to another settings tab

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open chargelimit settings in energy options
2. change the needed charge limit
3. type sudo password in password prompt
4.  press apply
5. click any other settings tab in the settings screen and switch back to advanced energy settings and the limit is again at 100%, it resets no matterhow often you do this
OBSERVED RESULT
resets itsef all the time

EXPECTED RESULT
a custom charge limit

David I don't think this is a duplicate as the threshold isn't set at all.

I changed mine from 80 to 81, hit Apply and the input box goes back to 80.

I also checked /sys/class/power_supply/BAT0/charge_stop_threshold, and it shows 80.
