SUMMARY When attempting to print a multipage document to a file rather than an actual printer, the page range option in the print options dialog is grey and cannot be used. This seems to apply to various KDE apps which have print capability. It applies to text and pdf source files. The other options - all, pages from and current are OK. Note: Libre Writer which uses its own print dialog works as expected. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a multipage text document with kwrite 2. Open the print dialog 3. Choose options 4: Choose pages OBSERVED RESULT The pages option is grey and unresponsive. EXPECTED RESULT Should be able to input a range or list or both of pages. I'm able to reproduce this on Fedora 42 as well as git-master, Solus using Okular or KWrite. In the print options, "Pages" underneath "Pages from" is greyed out. Further, if a printer is chosen in the drop down, the field is active and usable. As soon as I choose "Print to File", the field is greyed out. That said, I found an earlier report of this. I'm marking this as a duplicate of that one, bug 436388 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 436388 ***
