Description Alexander Potashev 2025-05-31 11:00:49 UTC
SUMMARY
High risk of accidentally changing column configuration by scrolling.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Configure columns...
2. Place mouse pointer on the right side of the columns configuration dialog within its viewport.
3. Scroll down using mouse wheel.

OBSERVED RESULT
The list starts scrolling, but then (almost always) it stops and starts changing the value of a combobox that is under mouse pointer. There's no indication if I changed something in the settings.

EXPECTED RESULT
Shouldn't change any settings while scrolling the list, or at least make the change noticeable.

You're absolutely right, but it's a more generic bug about combo boxes and scrolling. It's not system monitor specific.

I know there's a bug report on it. I would find it, but I know you're a KDE developer who can find it as fast as I can :)

The only relevant bug I've found so far is https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45180 (Konqueror, fixed in KDE 3.2).
