I was working on a project in Krita and saved my file as usual. When I tried to reopen it, Krita failed to load the document. I then attempted to open the backup file (jdhfhhfjjf.kra-autosave.kra~), and got the error: "Could not read pixels." - Krita version: [krita-x64-5.2.9-setup] - OS: [Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC] - File format: .kra - File size: [1.4 GiO] - Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Krita 2. Attempt to open the .kra file 3. Attempt to open the .kra~ backup 4. Error appears: "Could not read pixels"
I'm sorry, but that's not something we can fix for you. Your files are corrupted. I can take a look at the actual files and see whether something can be salvaged, but it sounds like you went beyond the limits with a 1.4 GB file. If you want me to take a look, please share the file with kritafoundation@gmail.com It could also be helpful to share the contents of help->krita log for bug reports.
