SUMMARY
Sluggish and Poor performance and lag interacting with panels in X11. Does not occur on Wayland. I have only tested this on Arch Linux. Mainly occurs when opening programs from the taskbar but also can be seen when opening the applications menu and in cursor loading animations.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open up an X11 Plasma session.
2. Interact with the panel (mainly opening programs like system settings).
3. See the error.

OBSERVED RESULT
Jittery and laggy animations, delays in opening programs.

EXPECTED RESULT
The panel works smoothly.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.14.0
Qt Version: 6.9.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
On Wayland the desktop functions smoothly.
Setting the environment variable "QT_QUICK_BACKEND=software" works as a band-aid solution to the problem, but does not fix it.

I forgot to add, But I believe this is specifically an NVIDIA issue. I use an Nvidia RTX 4070 w/ nvidia-open drivers

Is this fixed if you try different nvidia drivers?
