Description xander.bailey 2025-05-24 03:28:17 UTC
SUMMARY
The 'Kdenlive Settings > Misc > Check if first added clip matches profile' setting does not display the 'Switch to clip (...) profile' prompt when the first clip is added by dragging a video file from a file manager onto specifically the timeline (dragging it onto the project bin does display the prompt)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a new project
2. Drag a video file from a file manager directly onto the timeline

OBSERVED RESULT
The clip appears on the timeline and in the project bin, but no prompt to switch the project profile appears

EXPECTED RESULT
The clip appears on the timeline and in the project bin, and a prompt to switch the project profile appears
