SUMMARY So i noticed that sometimes after surfing, working, playing on Wayland and then switch to X11 by "log off" and and changing to X11 will result in crazy graphic glitches and flickering. Even the Position of every element is off. The System is pretty much not usuable anymore and i have to open the console to just Reboot. Nothing is actually crashing, no driver crashs nothing but everything just looks crazy like the GPU is about to die. On a fresh reboot that doesn't happen at all. Nor does it use when just using x11. Only switching is causing it. STEPS TO REPRODUCE Use the computer for a while using Wayland. then switch to a x11 session. OBSERVED RESULT Somtimes you'll witness crazy screenflickering/effects EXPECTED RESULT Screen shouldn't go crazy. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window) Operating System: EndeavourOS KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.14.0 Qt Version: 6.9.0 Kernel Version: 6.14.6-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland/X11 Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 6600
Can you share a recording of those glitches?
(In reply to Vlad Zahorodnii from comment #1) > Can you share a recording of those glitches? I can try recording it when it happens the next time the problem is that i would need to have the recording software activated all the time because the Picture is so glitchy that it is almost impossible to use the mouse to actually control any software. It's pixels and the screen position is wrong. Basically total chaos.
YOu could take a video using your phone.
